Harry Kane preparing for early return from ankle injury. The England international suffered ankle ligament damage during the FA Cup win over Millwall and fears were rife he could be sidelined for a large part of the rest of the season. But after Spurs adjudged the blow not to be as "severe" as the injury Kane suffered earlier in the term when he missed seven weeks, The Mirror reports the 23-year-old could return to action for the Premier League visit of AFC Bournemouth on 15 April.
The clash comes a week before the north Londoners face Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
Kane is still likely to miss the upcoming league games with Burnley, Swansea City and Watfordbut news that Tottenham could yet have their top scorer - who has netted 24 times this season - available within a month could act as a major fillip for the club.
Meanwhile, full-back Danny Rose remains on course to return from knee ligament damage in April. Tottenham have been non-committal over the 26-year-old's fitness but he could join Kane in returning to the fold in time for the climax to the campaign. The former Watford and Bristol City defender has not played since the draw over Sunderland on 31 January.
