Juventus Agree New Deal Worth €7m with Paulo Dybala Amid Interest from Manchester United and Barcelona

Italian publication Calcio Mercato reports that the Argentina international has agreed a lucrative deal to remain in Turin at least until the summer of 2021. The deal is expected to net Dybala around €7m. The deal comes at a good time for Juventus after Dybala proved his class when he scored a brace to help Juventus to a 3-0 win over Barcelona in the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. The report claims that the official announcement is imminent and could be made ahead of the second-leg against the Catalan giants at Camp Nou.

According to the Sun, United, Barcelona and Real were keen on signing the Argentine forward, who has scored 16 goals in all competitions for Juventus this season. But after his latest contract it is unlikely that the soon-to-be-crowned Italian champions will allow him to leave during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world football and is guaranteed to attract interest from top clubs across Europe. Juventus will hold the advantage in any negotiations with interested clubs and are likely to demand a much higher fee than they received from the Red Devils when they signed Paul Pogba last summer. The Italian publication, however, believes even an offer of €120m is unlikely to tempt the Juventus hierarchy this summer, as they are keen to hold on to their key players.
