Jose Mourinho’s side are without six first team stars for the visit of Tony Pulis’ men after Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Juan Mata were ruled out during the international break. The trio have added to an absentee list containing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera – meaning the Red Devils’ squad is stretched going into a busy period in April.
Willock, 20, has impressed for the reserves this season and has trained with Mourinho’s first team squad on a number of occasions throughout the campaign.
With Bastian Schweinsteiger leaving this week and Marouane Fellaini a doubt, the midfielder could be in line for a place on the bench as United look to grab a valuable three points against the Baggies.
Willock joined United from Arsenal in 2012 after being released by the Gunners, where his brothers – Chris and Joe still play.
