Chelsea have promoted Kyle Scott to their first-team squad off the back of the midfielder’s impressive summer. Scott, who joined the Blues as an Under-10 from Southampton, has been invited to train with Antonio Conte’s first-team several times in recent weeks and has been rewarded for his performances.
The 19-year-old was recently named in Chelsea’s Champions League squad for the 2017/18 campaign and will be hoping to impress further still at the club’s training base in Cobham.
Scott has been handed the No.36 shirt at Stamford Bridge and his next aim will be to secure game-time in Conte’s senior side, with confirming he will be rotating his squad in the coming weeks.
‘It is necessary to rotate, seven games in 21 days is not easy,’ Conte said before Chelsea’s 6-0 thumping of Qarabag.
