Inujry Boost as Gareth Bale Returns for Real Madrid Copa del Rey Clash vs Fuenlabrada

Gareth Bale is back in Real Madrid's squad to face Fuenlabrada on Tuesday night for the first time since suffering an injury during the 3-1 Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund on 26 September. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric, Isco and Karim Benzema have all been rested by Zinedine Zidane with Los Blancos holding a 2-0 advantage from the first leg of the Copa del Rey last-32 tie.

Jesus Vallejo is suspended after being sent off at Fuenlabrada while Sergio Ramos, Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio and Luca Zidane will also miss the cup clash due to varying injuries.

The visit of the Second Division B team will come only four days before a Saturday's [2 December] trip to Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.

The Real boss is therefore expected to make wholesale changes in his line-up on Tuesday night ahead of having Ronaldo and co fresh for San Mames.

Zidane will give the chance to some youngsters to prove themselves at the Santiao Bernabeu while Bale is expected to feature in the second-half to step up his return to full fitness.

The Wales international is yet to play a game since scoring a superb volley to help Real to beat Dortmund in the Champions League more than two months ago.

Zidane originally said that his substitution during that game was only as a precaution but days later it emerged that the former Tottenham star had suffered a muscle injury.

Bale tried to step up his recovery during the recent international break in the hope he could be back to face Atletico Madrid on 18 November. However, he has had to delay his comeback until this week after suffering a setback in his recovery during training.

Now Zidane will be hoping the Welshman could regain his best form ahead of the busy month of December which will include the visit of Barcelona for the first El Clasico of the La Liga season.

Meanwhile, the Real boss has confirmed that both Keylor Navas and Mateo Kovaciv will start after both players were named on the bench for the weekend's 3-2 win over Malaga.
